Dock Inventories provide a reliable, flexible and vital service in the property letting industry. We work with landlords and letting agencies to ensure that detailed, impartial property information is documented at the beginning, throughout the duration and at the final check out stage of a tenancy, to protect against unwanted disputes between landlord and tenant.
All Inventory Clerks are competent in the field, trained by the APIP and are required to have adequate, up to date public liability and professional indemnity insurance. The team are punctual, professional, reliable and courteous.
A detailed inventory has always been required however with changes in legislation the spotlight is now firmly on the inventory and check in and check out processes. Recent tenancy deposit scheme cases have highlighted the need for the clear concise inventory to protect the landlord. Many cases have resulted in a full return of the deposit as the landlord could not provide sufficient evidence to successfully pursue their action.
As we are independent, our Inventory reports will stand up and protect Landlords and Tenants should a dispute arise.
